About this piece
This Gorilla was created with love and attention to detail. I had so much fun making this piece! As far back as I can remember I have loved all types of Apes. I even collected them as a child. I've always found it fascinating that gorillas are such highly social animals. They live in groups or family type structures, they communicate, form strong bonds, and even show affection. It saddens me that every species of gorillas are endangered. These creatures are a reminder that God created us for community. We not only need him, but we need each other.
